The habit of sitting in one place increases the risk of developing a heart attack or a disease like diabetes. If you sit in one place for six to eight hours, it is dangerous.

It will make the individual vulnerable to sitting at home and not talking to the individual when they meet and search for alternative ways of communication.
So, to conclude it is usually inferred that for many people, heavy use of social media and the internet has had detrimental consequences.
