As we all are fond of that, Lord Ganesha is said to be the deity of Creation & Intellect. Ganesha, the Lord of Wisdom, is the most loved form of Creation worshipped by people from all works of life. In this diversified culture of India, we have deities glorified for well-being of a different kind like wisdom, peace, wealth, happiness and so on.

As depicted in the Hindu Puranas, Ganesha is seen as the God of Sagacity & Foresight. As it is not just a Murthi or a statue, of an Elephant-headed form with four hands and big stomach. When we will look into depth, we will find that there is a very knowledgeable & awakening lesson for us to learn.

Lord Ganesha is an origin of learning with every body part of him conveying the profound lessons of life. As each element of Lord Ganesha's has it's own Spiritual Significance. And that's the reason, we bow down to him.

1. Ganesha's Ears :

As Big Elephant Ears of our Favorite Ganesha (Bappa), signifies us to "LISTEN MORE". It teaches us a lesson that those who will Listen More will have the opportunity to Learn More. Hence, Ears of Ganesha signify the Importance of Listening.

2. Ganesha's Head :

As Ganesha has an unique face in an Elephant-headed Form which is loved by everyone of us. The Big Head of Ganesha is saying us to "THINK BIG". His unique Elephant Head symbolizes Intelligence and distinct brain or Mental power.

3. Ganesha's Eyes :

As very tiny and small eyes of our most loved Ganesha signifies the Importance of "CONCENTRATION". As Listening and Concentrating are inter-linked with each other and both are very important. It tells us to concentrate and look within to explore new opportunities and high possibilities of life.

4. Ganesha's Mouth :

Ganesha's small mouth signifies us to " TALK LESS". Also we know that, Words can create Magic. So, the one who has mastery/control over their words can win anything in this world; even a battle or a conflict ! As Ganesha with his small mouth is teaching us to value our words, to listen, think/analyze, do and then Talk.

5. Ganesha's Single Tusk :

As most of us be knowing about the Mythological Story behind's Ganesha's Single Tusk (As other one is broken). It shows Ganesha's ability to overcome/defeat dualism in life. So, it is very important for us to differentiate between Good & Bad. It teaches us the lesson to keep Good & Memorable Thoughts and throw out the Evil & Negative Thoughts.

6. Ganesha's Belly :

The Ganesha's Big Belly signifies us to "DIGEST ALL GOOD AND BAD IN LIFE". The one who can see the life as way it is going and be able to perceive things without any conclusion is the Happiest One. Big Belly of Lord Ganesha signifies Bappa's ability to swallow the sorrows of the universe and protect the world.

7. Ganesha's Legs :

You may know or may have noticed the position of Ganesha's Legs. That one leg is resting on the ground & other one is raised. It is indicating way of living. As for human beings, both spiritual and social phases of life are important but here balance creates an issue. Here, Lord Ganesha's legs position signifies that "BALANCE". 

8. Ganesha's Urdha Mark :

Urdha Mark is the Trishul we see on Ganesha's Forehead. Trishul is the weapon of Shiva which signifies "TIME". This symbol having on Ganesha's Forehead tells his mastery over time. As this Urdha Mark motivates us to work on our energies by performing YOGA & Exercises. And gain a type of mastery over our own life energies.

9. Ganesha's Arms :

Ganesha's Four Arms signifies the four inner attributes of subtle body. Here they are

1) "MANAS" means Mind.

2) "BUDDHI" means Intellect.

3) "AHANKARA" means Ego. 

4) "CHITTA" means Consciousness.

Here, what does it symbolizes -

1st Arm Holding An Axe : It is an symbol of division of all the desires.

2nd Arm Holding A Lotus : It symbolizes the highest goal of human evolution.

3rd Arm in a Pose of Blessing : It is a symbol of protection & guidance to a spiritual seeker.

4th Arm Holding Modak : It is a symbol of spreading the sweetness of inner joy.
